Big Yellow Self Storage has substantial funds available to acquire buildings and sites suitable for the development of self storage facilities.

We currently operate a portfolio of 49 stores with a further 23 under development and have ambitious plans to expand our portfolio.

We currently operate a portfolio of 3m sq ft and have a development program that will deliver a further 1.5m sq ft.

We require properties satisfying the following criteria:

  • Locations throughout Southern England, and in particular Greater London
  • Key locations in strategic cities in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland
  • Existing buildings or sites
  • Main road frontage, preferably close to edge-of-town retail/fast food
  • Existing buildings of 16 - 30,000 sq. ft. (50,000 sq. ft. in London) on ground floor
  • Sites of 0.8 - 4 acres
  • Preferably Freehold, may consider Leasehold
