Big Yellow Self Storage in Barking Central is prominently located on Hertford Road, at the junction of the A406 North Circular and the A124 Barking Road, just west of Barking train station.
Big Yellow Barking Central comprises a purpose built, modern self storage facility storage space on four floors. The storage rooms range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 1,000 sq. ft.
3ft cubed lockers are also available at this store.

- Take the A406 towards City Airport
- Exit at A124 signposted Barking / East Ham
- Take the first exit at the roundabout
- After 100 meters turn right into Big Yellow
- Take the A406 from the City Airport
- Exit A406 at Barking / East Ham Junction signposted A124
- Take the third exit at roundabout
- After about 100 meters turn right into Big Yellow
- Follow A123 St Paul's Road towards A406
- At roundabout take fourth exit
- After about 100 metres turn right into Big Yellow
- Take district line to Barking Train station
- Turn left outside the station
- Take Bus 238 towards Stratford or Bus 5 towards Canning Town

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
