Barking is located approximately 10 miles east of Central London and 6 miles east of Canary Wharf and the Blackwall Tunnel.Big Yellow Self Storage in Barking is located in a prominent location fronting directly onto Alfreds Way (A13) close to its junction with the A123 Ripple Road. Barking town centre is 1 mile northwest of the store via Ripple Road. Junction 30 of the M25 is approximately 7 miles east of the store via the A13 dual carriageway which also provides convenient access to the North Circular Road (A406) 1 mile to the west.Big Yellow Barking comprises a modern self storage facility comprising of four floors. Our self storage rooms, which are typically 7 to 8 ft. high, range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 500 sq. ft.3ft cubed lockers and flexi offices are also available at this store.

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store

Our Barking store also offers flexible, competitively priced office space available to hire for as little as four weeks at a time. Our prices are fully inclusive of rent, rates, service charges and security. As an example the price of our 200 sq. ft. flexi offices are £435.00 per four weeks, and the 450 sq. ft. flexi offices are £920.00 per four weeks.
