Big Yellow Self Storage in Cardiff is situated on Penarth Road (A4160) within Cardiff City Centre. The store is located on the south side of Penarth Road half a mile south of Cardiff railway station and close to the bridge over the river Taff.
Big Yellow Cardiff comprises a purpose built modern self storage facility with storage space on three floors. Our storage rooms, which are are typically 8.5 - 9 ft. in height, range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 450 sq. ft.
We also have 3ft. cubed lockers available at this store. -

- Exit at junction 33
- Follow the A4232 for approx 8 miles exiting onto the A4055 signposted Penarth
- At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Penarth Road (A4160)
- Follow Penarth Road for approx 2 miles until you cross the river
- Big Yellow is located on the right hand side opposite the BMW garage
- Entrance is via Curran Embankment
From City Centre
- From High Street and St. Mary's Street head south towards Cardiff Central train station
- Continue under the railway bridge to the roundabout
- At the roundabout turn right onto Penarth Road
- Pass Brains Brewery on the right hand side
- Big Yellow is visible on the left hand side
- Entrance is via Curran Embankment on the left opposite the BMW Garage

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store

Our Cardiff store also offers flexible, competitively priced office space, from 150 sq ft to 275 sq ft in size. Some of which have a fantastic view of the city centre and Millennium Stadium and all are available to hire for as little as four weeks at a time.
Our prices are fully inclusive of rent, rates, service charges and security. As an example, the price of a 150 sq. ft. flexi office suite is only £225.00 per four weeks.
