Big Yellow Self Storage in Croydon is prominently located on Thornton Road (A23) one mile west of Croydon town centre. The store is situated adjacent to MFI & Carpetright and is only two hundred yards north of the Lombard roundabout.
Big Yellow Croydon comprises a purpose built, modern self storage facility storage space on two floors. The storage rooms range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 1,000 sq. ft.
3ft cubed lockers and bulk storage units of up to approx. 2,500 sq. ft. are also available at this store.

- From Vauxhall bridge follow the A23 towards Brighton
- Proceed through Brixton and Streatham
- Upon reaching Thornton Heath the property fronts directly onto the A23 immediately adjacent to MFI and Carpetright
From the South
- From the M25 take junction 7 onto the northbound carriageway of the M23
- The M23 will become the A23 at Hooley, follow the A23 towards Croydon and Central London
- After approximately 6 miles you will approach the Purley Way retail complex
- Continue towards London on the A23
- Continue over the Lombard Roundabout
- The property is 200 yards north of the roundabout on the left-hand side.

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
