Introduction

Big Yellow Oxford is located on the Oxford Ring Road (A4142) in Cowley, three miles east of Oxford City Centre. Our distinctive yellow building is situated adjacent to the BMW Mini car plant and close to Currys and Homebase at Horspath Driftway. Access to the store is from Peterley road (turn left at Fox FM!).

The store comprises a purpose built, modern self storage facility providing storage space on three floors. The storage rooms range in size from 12 sq. ft. to over 400 sq. ft.

We also have 3 ft cubed lockers available at this store.

Directions

From the M40 Exit junction 8 Take A40 towards Oxford At 1st roundabout (Green Road) turn left onto ring road ( A4142 ) Turn off at exit marked Horspath Industrial Estate After 50 yards, turn left into Pony Road and left again at Fox FM into Peterley Road. Big Yellow is straight ahead.  From the M4 Exit Junction 13 Take A34 North to Oxford Take exit signposted Oxford ring road - A4142 and follow signs for M40 London Continue and after the BMW Mini plant turn right at the exit marked Horspath Industrial Estate Then as above

Public Transport Details By Bus Take the no. 10 or 103 from the city centre to the Horspath Shops, turning left onto Pony Road and left again onto Peterley Road inside Horspath Estate

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:

• Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
• To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
• Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
• Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
• Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
• Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
• Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
  
• We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
• You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
