Introduction

Big Yellow Self Storage in Portsmouth is located at the junction of Rodney Road and Milton Road (A288) approximately one and a half miles east of Portsmouth Town Centre. The store is situated next to St. Mary's hospital and near Fratton Park.

Big Yellow Portsmoutn comprises a three storey self storage facility together with a range of "flexi-offices".

Our self storage rooms range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 500 sq. ft. Our flexi-offices typically range in size from 130 sq. ft. to 300 sq. ft. although offices may be created to specific requirements subject to availability.

From the East Follow A27 signposted Portsmouth Leave to join A2030 signposted Southsea Follow A2030 for approx. 2½ miles until major crossroads, where Big Yellow is visible immediately in front of you Proceed across the junction into Rodney Road. The entrance to Big Yellow is approx. 30 metres on the right hand side From the West Take M3, M27 signposted Portsmouth Exit M27 / A27 to join A2030 signposted Southsea (do not exit at Junction 12 or M275) Follow A2030 for approx. 2½ miles until major crossroads, where Big Yellow is visible immediately in front of you Proceed across the junction into Rodney Road. The entrance to Big Yellow is approx. 30 metres on the right hand side From City Centre Follow A2030 (Churchill Avenue) signs to Fratton Proceed over 2 roundabouts into Goldsmith Avenue After approx. ¾ mile turn left into Milton Road at traffic lights Big Yellow is to be found approx. 200 metres on the left At major traffic lights turn left into Rodney Road. The entrance to Big Yellow is approx 30 metres on the right hand side

Public Transport Details By Bus Take the no. 45b from Portsmouth & Southsea and Fratton Train Stations to the Milton Road Junction From Hilsea Train Station, take the 27b to the Milton Road Junction From Portsmouth Harbour Train Station take the 60a to Fratton Road, then the 45b to the Milton Road Junction Take the no. 6 from Old Portsmouth via Southsea to the Milton Road Junction From Copnor Road, take the 4a or 45b southbound to the Milton Road Junction From the Eastern Road take the no. 27 to Tangier Road, then continue walking to St Mary's Road before turning right onto Rodney road

We offer free unlimited access during our reception opening hours. Extended Access (5am-11pm) is also available 7 days a week upon payment of a small additional 4 weekly administration fee.

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:

• Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
• To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
• Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
• Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
• Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
• Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
• Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
  
• We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
• You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store

Flexi Office

Our Portsmouth store also offers flexible, competitively priced, office space available to hire for as little as one month at a time. The flexi office suites range from 125 sq. ft to over 525 sq. ft and cost from as little as £179.00 for 4 weeks for a 125 sq. ft. suite. A 250 sq. ft. suite (one of our most popular sizes) is only £429.00 for 4 weeks. Our prices are fully inclusive of rent, rates, service charge and security.
