Big Yellow Self Storage in Richmond is located on Lower Mortlake Road (A316) between Kwik Fit and Sainsburys. It is situated midway between Richmond, Kew and Sheen. The store is conveniently located for the residential areas of South West London and Central London via the A316.
Big Yellow Richmond comprises a modern self storage facility providing storage space on two floors. The storage rooms range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 400 sq. ft.

- Take A4 to Hogarth roundabout
- Take A316 signposted to Richmond
- Continue past South Circular Road junction (A205)
- Continue over next roundabout, adjacent to new J Sainsbury store
- Take the second left by the Crown public house, into Victoria Villas
From South West
- From the M3 motorway, follow signs to Central London
- M3 leads to A316 to Richmond
- Approach Richmond Circus roundabout and continue on the A316 towards Central London for about one quarter of a mile
- Turn right immediately after Kwik Fit into Victoria Villas

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
