Big Yellow Self Storage in Tolworth fronts directly onto the south side of the A3 (Kingston Bypass) just west of the Tolworth Tower.
Access to the store is via a slip road running parallel to the A3 and which is approached off the Tolworth Junction roundabout. Alternatively, HGV and other large vehicles should access the store from the Chessington Industrial Estate via Kingston Road (A240), Jubilee Way, Cox Lane and finally Oakcroft Road.
Big Yellow Tolworth comprises a purpose built modern self storage facility with space on three floors. The storage space range from 10 sq. ft. (the size of a walk in wardrobe) to 400 sq. ft. or more (about the size of a triple garage).
We also have 3 ft. cubed lockers available at this store.

From the A3 By Car
- Exit at Tolworth Junction
- Continue round the roundabout as if rejoining the A3 towards Guildford
- After approximately 50 yards, turn left onto Toby Way and turn immediately right onto Hook Rise South
- Big Yellow is visible on the left hand side
By Luton Van and Larger Vehicles
- Exit at Tolworth Junction and head towards Ewell on Kingston Road
- Continue to the lights and turn right onto Jubilee Way
- Continue straight then turn right onto Oakcroft Road
- Follow the road round to the end then turn right onto Hook Rise South where the store will be visible on the right hand side
From Surbiton
By Car or Luton Van
(this road has width restrictions)- Join Hook Road (A243) towards Chessington
- Proceed straight over Hook Junction and take the second left onto Hunters Road leading to Cox Lane
- Continue straight until Oakcroft Road, where you turn left
- Then as above
From Kingston

- Join the A240 towards Tolworth Junction
- Turn right at roundabout as if rejoining the A3 towards Guildford
- Then as from A3

- Join the A240 towards Tolworth Junction
- Proceed straight across roundabout onto Kingston Road

From Ewell

- Take the A240 towards Tolworth Junction

By Bus
- The 489 from Guildford and the 265 from Putney stop at Kingston Road and Tolworth Junction respectively
- The 71, K4, 465 & 467 stop at Hook Bypass which is approximately a 10 minute walk to the store. From the bus stop walk along Hook Road towards Epsom, turning left onto Elm Croft Drive and right onto Hook Rise South where the store will be visible
By Train
- The nearest train station is Tolworth. From exiting the station, turn left onto Kingston Road towards Tolworth Junction, left again at Tolby Way and finally bearing left onto Hook Rise South where the store will be visible

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
