Big Yellow Group PLC, one of Europe's leading self-storage operators, is expanding internationally and in October 2006, we signed our first franchise agreement for the United Arab Emirates to build the world's largest purpose-built storage facility at the International Media Production Zone (iMPZ) in Dubai.
An agreement has now been signed to expand Big Yellow franchises across the other GCC states and a second site has already been acquired in Bahrain which will open next year.
We aim to continue our International growth by developing successful partnerships with a small number of like-minded franchisees who will own and operate Big Yellow format facilities exclusively within agreed territories.
