We are proud to welcome the newest recruit to our Edinburgh branch, Vixen the hawk, who has become the head of our newly formed anti-seagull department. The position became available as we’re located on an airport flight path and we have to stop our feathered friends from nesting on our roof!
We attract between 50-60 birds to our lovely building which can cause a safety hazard to aeroplanes in flight, as well as the well-being of the birds themselves. Vixen, who is a bird of prey, flies over our roof and scares the gulls away – he’s like our own burly bouncer! Our Edinburgh team have even been trying their hand at falconry, but we think we’ll leave it to the pros.
