Big Yellow Self Storage in New Malden is located adjacent to Shannon Corner on the A3. The store is positioned next to Halfords and MFI and just south of Malden Golf Course and Driving Range.
Access to the store is off the Shannon Corner roundabout the entrance being just past the entrance to Halfords.
Big Yellow New Malden comprises a modern self storage facility providing storage space on 3 floors. Our storage rooms, which are typically 8 ft high, range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 500 sq. ft.
We also have 3ft cubed lockers available at this store.

Directions

From the South/West
- Take the A3 to Central London
- Exit at Shannon Corner Roundabout
- Take the 2nd exit
- Proceed, past MFI and Halfords
- Take the next available left after Halfords
- Almost immediately turn right
- Drive alongside our store, the entrance to our reception is around to the left
From Central London
- From the A3 travel south west towards Guildford
- Exit at road sign for New Malden (B282), Raynes Park & Merton
- Follow the signs to Kingston / New Malden (B282) down to Shannon Corner Roundabout
- Take the 3rd exit as if you are rejoining the A3 towards Central London
- Proceed past MFI and Halfords
- Then as above
Public Transport Details
By Train
- From New Malden train station walk down the high street and turn left onto Burlington Road at the fountain roundabout, where you will arrive at Shannon Corner. From here turn right onto the access road for the A3 towards London
By Bus
- Take the K5 (Ham-Kingston-Morden), 265 (Tolworth-Roehampton-Putney Bridge), or the 152 (New Malden-Mitcham-Pollards Hill) to the Shannon Corner stop. Alternatively, you can take the 131 or the N77 to the Rookwood Avenue stop on Shannon Corner

Mon 8am-6pm Tue 8am-6pm Wed 8am-6pm Thu 8am-6pm Fri 8am-6pm Sat 9am-6pm Sun 10am-2pm We offer free unlimited access during our reception opening hours. Extended Access (5am-11pm) is also available 7 days a week upon payment of a small additional 4 weekly administration fee.

Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store

Our New Malden store also offers flexible, competitively priced office space available to hire for as little as four weeks at a time. Our prices are fully inclusive of rent, rates, service charges and security. As an example, the price of a 100 sq. ft. flexi office is only £297.00 per four weeks and a 200 sq. ft. office is £572.00 per four weeks.
