Big Yellow Self Storage in Southend is located on the east bound carriageway of the Southend Arterial Road (A127) 3 miles north west of Southend town centre. Our distinctive yellow building is accessed from Airborne Close just beyond BMW if you are heading out of Southend on the A127 or just beyond Mercedes if you are heading into Southend.
Big Yellow Southend comprises a modern self storage facility providing storage space on two floors. The storage rooms range in size from 10 sq. ft. to over 1000 sq. ft.
We also have 3 ft. cubed lockers available at this store.

Directions

From the M25 Motorway and Basildon:
- Exit the M25 at Junction 29
- Take the A127 dual carriageway towards Southend
- Follow the A127 (Southend Arterial Road) into Southend
- Continue through the traffic lights at Progress Road
- Pass the Lexus and Fairfield Mini dealerships on your left
- Big Yellow is on your left hand side, look for our distinctive
yellow building and turn left into Airborne Close
From Southend Town Centre
- From Prince Avenue proceed westerly past Tesco's on your right
- Continue into the Southend Arterial Road (A127)
- At the BMW dealership indicate right and enter the slip road to cross the dual carriageway
- Cross the dual carriageway and enter Airborne Close

We offer free unlimited access during our reception opening hours. Extended Access (5am-11pm) is also available 7 days a week upon payment of a small additional 4 weekly administration fee. -
Things to remember

To enable you to move your belongings into your self storage room immediately, it’s important to remember the following:
- Please pay by card or cheque – sorry, we can’t accept cash
- To set up Direct Debit a recent bank statement or valid cheque book will be required - only 1 weeks security deposit is required at move in if you choose to pay by Direct Debit , instead of 4 weeks with other payment methods
- Please bring ‘photo ID’ – such as your passport or driving licence
- Please bring a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of your address
- Please give us a name, address and telephone number for emergency contact - this must be a different address to your own
- Please turn up a minimum of 1 hour before closing when moving in
- Please create an inventory of items being put into storage - you will be asked to produce this inventory at move in for insurance purposes
- We will take a digital photo of you when you move in to keep on your file
- You will need a padlock. A full range is available in store
