Big Yellow Eltham supports Nepal Response Appeal
Following the tragic news two weeks ago that Nepal had been hit with a 7.8 magnitude earthquake, communities everywhere have come together to help support the emergency response appeal.
Last week, Brindishe Schools called upon their local community to try and fill 50 large boxes to take to the British Red Cross charity shop in Eltham. The Big Yellow store in Eltham donated 50 boxes to help the cause, as well as rolls of packing tape.
In just one day, almost every box was filled thanks to the generosity of families across the three Brindishe Schools.
The Red Cross estimates that each box of donations could be worth up to £150, meaning thousands of pounds have been raised. The money will go directly to helping families and communities in Nepal to recover from the earthquake.
