Mountain Trek In Support Of Cash For Kids

Derek from our Armadillo Dundee store was recently asked to accompany Cash for Kids coordinator, Alison Carr on a Mountain Trek in the High Tatras Mountains, Poland. The purpose of the trek was to raise as much money as possible for the Radio Tay – Cash for Kids Charity which the Dundee store is heavily involved with. Cash for Kids supports thousands of children across the North East of the UK who suffer abuse or neglect, are disabled and have special needs or simply need a little extra care or guidance. The trip lasted 9 days, which included 5 days of mountain trekking and living in the High Tatras Mountain range. Each day involved around 7 hours of walking and the occasional rock climbing at the steeper parts, to reach peaks of around 2000 meters. Day 5 of the trek […]
