Our Liverpool Edge Lane Store

Big Yellow Self Storage Liverpool opened its doors in 2009 and is easily accessible, located opposite the new B&Q on Edge Lane close to the new Liverpool Shopping Park. We are also one of four locations in Liverpool.  Our purpose-built store has an undercover car park, which helps protect our customers and your possessions from the rain when you’re moving in or out. We’re very popular with students in the summer and downsizers, renovators, home movers and travelers all year round. Our storage spaces range from 10 – 400 sq. ft.

You’ll access the storage facility using an app called StorID. With StorID, your phone acts like a digital code—giving you instant, secure entry without the need to remember or type anything in. Just swipe and go.

Our car park comfortably accommodates most removal and delivery wagons with ample parking spaces. 

Please note that articulated lorries aren’t suitable due to height restrictions, so any deliveries with these vehicles should be arranged with the store in advance.

Driving Directions:

From the city (heading out of town): Drive up Edge Lane and turn left onto Mill Lane, then continue straight into our car park.

Toward the city (coming from the motorway): You’ll see the store at the Edge Lane/Mill Lane traffic lights, but you can’t turn right directly in. Instead, turn left (away from the store), make a U-turn or use the B&Q car park to turn around, then head back over the junction and into our car park.

We ask for 7 days deposit on most of our rooms, or 4 weeks deposit if the rooms are larger.  We take payment every 4 weeks and in advance and it's a rolling contract until you want to leave.  You're not tied in and only need to give us 14 days notice to move out without penalty.  Any days unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.

The nearest option is the Otterspool Recycling Centre on Jericho Lane, L17 5AR -  roughly 4 miles from the store. Only vans or trailers need to book in advance, but please check their website before visiting.
