My experience with Big Yellow Storage in Brighton on Coombe Road was absolutely fantastic! I experienced exceptional customer service and kindness from staff, not to mention Chris who works with Big Yellow, went over and beyond to help me and even stayed after closing to ensure that my belongings were safely transported into the moving van when my contract had ended, not to mention he is very handsome! Frequently asked questions

We are just off Lewes Road, with access to our car park from Coombe road.  As the crow flies, we're opposite Halford, Hobby Craft and Aldi.

Our building actually originally housed the Bernard Oppenheimer Diamond Works, a large factory built in 1917 to train and employ disabled veterans from World War I for diamond polishing.  Since then it became domestic appliance manufacturer before becoming mostly vacant then a tyre storage depot before we bought it renovated it and opened our store in October 2002.

Our reception opening hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm

During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need.  If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange.  We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee.  However this is subject to store discretion.

Our extended access  hours are:

Monday - Sunday 5am and 11pm

 

Yes, we have two large fully automated lifts for passengers and goods.

Yes, we have a fairly large car park with ample customer parking. Lorries can access the site, but because the space is long and narrow with a limited turning circle, we recommend reversing in for easier manoeuvring.
