We're just 15 minutes from the city centre, behind Asda on Marshwood Close in Canterbury . Or a 10 minute drive from University of Kent.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Yes we are. Armadillo Self Storage joined the Big Yellow Group in 2009 when we were managed by Big Yellow Self Storage. Then in 2014 we were aquired by Big Yellow. We're now firmly part of the Big Yellow family. Which is why you will find us on the Big Yellow Website and you will see Big Yellow branded packing materials sold in our reception.
Yes, we have two here at Armadillo Canterbury. One is a passenger and goods lift that fits you and around two trolleys. The other is a goods-only lift with nearby stair access. Both are fully automated for your convenience.
Yes, we do sell boxes. At Big Yellow, we offer a wide range of high-quality moving and storage boxes, along with all the packing materials you might need.
You can browse and purchase them online through our Box Shop, with the option for home delivery or click & collect from the store. Or, if you prefer, you can buy them directly from reception.
