Cardiff is the only Big Yellow store in Wales, located just across the road from Cardiff Central train station. We have been serving the local community since 2001 from our large flagship store which has a wide selection of internal storage units, drive up rooms and a large suite of flexi offices which are available on short term contracts. We are ideally placed to support both businesses and domestic storage customers from across the Cardiff area with easy access to the city and M4.

I wasn't able to move my stuff out on my moving out day so I rang and the gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and said the next day was fine. All staff I have delt with have been friendly and approachable.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Yes, all customers must insure their goods while in storage — it’s a condition of our storage license. You can choose our Enhanced Liability Service or provide your own insurance, as long as it covers items in self storage. If using your own provider, the policy must include our store’s name and address, and we’ll need a copy for our records during your stay.
Our storage rooms only require 14 day notice to move out, and our offices require 28 days notice please. Notice must be either via email or through your online account.
Any days paid for but unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.
Yes, we do. We offer 6 different sized offices 150 sq ft, 175 sq ft, 200 sq ft, 225 sq ft, 250 sq ft and 275 sq ft. These are unfurnished private offices with your own PIN code access. Please contact our store team for more information if you're interested or come and visit us and have a look around.
The Bessemer Close recycling centre is only 1.5 miles at CF11 8XH. You'll need to register and book via their website before getting there.
Everything you need for moving day or self storage: sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, dust sheets, mattress bags and more. Whatever needs to be moved, stored or protected, you'll find it all in our Box Shop.
