Cheltenham Spa is famous for its Gold Cup week, the ladies college and of course Big Yellow Self Storage, a stable business which has been here Since 2000. We are located just a canter away from Prestbury Park, on Princess Elizabeth Way - named after Queen Elizabeth II who visited in 1951 and planted a tree on the estate. Our storage facility, in addition to the internal storage units, has plenty of external drive up storage rooms which our customers like due to their ease of access.

Yes, we are open on race days. However, please be aware that the area can get very busy due to increased traffic and diversions. We recommend allowing extra time for your visit.
Yes, absolutely. Yes, here at Big Yellow Cheltenham we have a spacious onsite car park exclusively for our customers which is big enough to allow large lorries to enter and turn.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Wingmoor Farm household recycling centre is roughly 5 miles away in Bishop's Cleeve, GL52 7RS. You'll need to book via their website before getting there.
Yes, we do. We have 6 different sizes of external drive-up storage rooms, with availability changing regularly - feel free to pop in and chat with us about what you need.
Please note, these units are for general storage only and not suitable for storing vehicles. If you're looking to park a car, we do offer dedicated car parking spaces instead.
