Our Hayes Store
Our Hayes branch is located just off the M4 opposite Costco wholesalers and is within a 10 minutes drive from Hayes high street. We are one of the Big Yellow storage facilities who utilise solar technology to help provide a sustainable energy source. We have established ourselves with a long-standing reputation in excellent customer service and are here to help all of our customers find the best storage space for their needs, whether they are moving to a new house, starting a business or student space to rent. You’ll access the storage facility using an app called StorID. With StorID, your phone acts like a digital code—giving you instant, secure entry without the need to remember or type anything in. Just swipe and go.

To start renting your storage room, you’ll need to visit the store to sign your customer licence and pay for your initial 4-week period, deposit, and contents protection.
Contents protection is required before you can begin storing. You can either use our Enhanced Liability Service or provide your own insurance policy, but it must specifically cover self storage and clearly list our store address. A copy of the policy will need to be provided before move-in.
Don’t forget you'll need a padlock to secure your room - we sell combination locks at the store if you need to buy one.
If you need help getting your items to us, we’re happy to recommend trusted local removal companies. Alternatively, you can bring your belongings by car and use the trolleys available onsite to move them easily into your storage room.
Yes we do. Alongside storage we offer a delivery and collection service. With prior notice we can arrange to accept delivereis on your behalf or hold things for pre-arranged collection. This is a paid for service. Please come and speak to us to discuss the details
There is no minimum stay, but a 14-day notice period applies to all billing. This means you will only pay for the time you are with us, subject to a minimum charge of 14 days.
Yes, we offer a forklifting service. Most of our staff are trained to operate the forklift and can help move goods from your delivery lorry. We can also unload deliveries when you’re not onsite; we just ask that you move items into your room the same working day so communal areas remain clear for other customers. This is a paid service, and if you have regular deliveries, please speak with us to discuss ongoing arrangements.
