Frequently asked questions
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.
Our extended access hours are:
Monday - Sunday 5am and 11pm
Yes. All customers must either take out contents protection for their goods through our Enhanced Liability Service or provide proof of insurance cover for goods in self storage, before they can store with us. If using your own insurance provider you will need to ask them to add an addendum to your policy to include the name and address of this store please.
Yes, very much so. We get large lorries in almost daily. Our car park is large enough to allow easy turning and parking.
Most of our rooms only require 14 day notice to move out. Our larger room sizes of 1,000 sq ft and above do require 28 days notice please.
Any days paid for but unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.
To start renting your storage room, you'll need to visit the store to sign your customer license and pay for your initial 4-week period, deposit, and contents protection (if you're using our Enhanced Liability Service). Once everything is signed and paid, you're ready to move in.
Don’t forget you'll need a padlock to secure your room - we sell combination padlocks at the store if you need to buy one.
If you need help getting your items to us, we’re happy to recommend trusted local removal companies. Alternatively, you can bring your belongings by car and use the trolleys available onsite to move them easily into your storage room.
