Our Staines Store
Our brand new Staines store opened July 2025. Located on The Causeway, A308, near the big Sainsburys, just by the town centre and on the River Thames. This modern purpose built store has over 20 different room sizes to choose from, onsite free parking, delivery and collection service, roof top solar panels providing its own energy and electric vehicle charging points specifically for our customers.

You’ll access the storage facility using an app called StorID. With StorID, your phone acts like a digital code—giving you instant, secure entry without the need to remember or type anything in. Just swipe and go.

Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Yes, we do sell boxes. At Big Yellow, we offer a wide range of high-quality moving and storage boxes, along with all the packing materials you might need. You can browse and purchase them directly from our online Box Shop.
Whether you're moving home or just need to organise your space, we've got you covered.
There is no minimum stay, but a 14-day notice period applies to all billing. This means you will only pay for the time you are with us, subject to a minimum charge of 14 days.
Yes, absolutely. If you book the wrong room size or your needs change during your stay we can be completely flexible so you only pay for the storage you need. You can change rooms to larger or smaller whenever you need. We will happily show you alternative rooms and discuss the best options for your needs.
