Frequently asked questions
We're just off Thornaby Road right at the end of the Teesside Industrial Estate.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.
Our extended access hours are:
Monday - Sunday 5am and 11pm
Yes, all customers must insure their goods while in storage — it’s a condition of our storage license. You can choose our Enhanced Liability Service or provide your own insurance, as long as it covers items in self storage. If using your own provider, the policy must include our store’s name and address, and we’ll need a copy for our records during your stay.
Most of our rooms only require 14 days' notice to move out. Our larger room sizes over 1,000 sq ft and our car parking spaces do require 28 days' notice please.
Any days paid for but unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.
The Haverton Hill Recycling Centre is the nearest recycling centre to us - approximately 7 miles north of the store. You'll need to book via their website before arrival.
