Our Bow Store

We are a purpose built storage facility within easy reach of public transport off the Old Ford turn off on the A12, opposite Buildbase. We're also only a 5-10 walk from Hackney Train Station.  You'll probably be able to spot our logo on top of our iconic chimney from our previous life as a stationary warehouse before we became a self storage building.  Built in 2005 we offer over 120,000 sq ft of secure storage space with the best possible customer service.

Frequently asked questions

You’ll access the storage facility using an app called StoreID. With StoreID, your phone acts like a digital code—giving you instant, secure entry without the need to remember or type anything in. Just swipe and go.


To get started, our team at reception will set you up. You can also read more about how it works in our quick guide:  bigyellow.co.uk/storageapp-guide

Our reception opening hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm

During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need.  If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange.  We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee.  However this is subject to store discretion.

Our extended access  hours are:

Monday - Sunday 5am and 11pm

 

Our trolleys are free to use and are stored in the loading bay and just outside the lifts once you go thorugh the sliding doors. You may also find some in the lower ground loading bay near the side entrance and in the basement car park too.

Zipcar is parked down the right hand side of our building. Follow the signage near the barriers as you enter our main gate. They have two reserved spaces on site with us. 

And for those curious, or who don't know, we work with ZipCar and they have reserved parking for two of their vehicles in our car park, which you can hire through us for a discounted price.

You bring your items to us and move them into your own private room. You'll get your own unique PIN code and will lock the room with your own padlock. Neither us nor anyone else has access to your room and you can come an go as often as you like within our opening hours. 

Think of us as a spare room that you control and move your items in and out of as you wish.
