Big Yellow Self Storage West Norwood has been open since 2003 and is located on Knights Hill which is only five minutes away from West Norwood Station. The town centre is a short walk away and offers a diverse range of shopping. The local church of Saint Luke’s church was completed in 1821. The friendly team in West Norwood are always at hand to help to support our storage customers and will make you a refreshing hot drink on the day you move into your storage unit.

Yes. Please do – no appointment is required. Our friendly team is happy to show you several different spaces to ensure you get the right size. Come and see us at any point during our reception opening hours.
You’re free to move out whenever you like, just give us at least 7 days’ notice. There are no admin fees or penalties for ending your storage, provided we have 7 days notice from you - you only pay for the time you use. Any days paid for but unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.

Yes, all customers must insure their goods while in storage — it’s a condition of our storage license. You can choose our Enhanced Liability Service or provide your own insurance, as long as it covers items in self storage. If using your own provider, the policy must include our store’s name and address, and we’ll need a copy for our records during your stay.
Lambeth reuse and recylcing centre is just under a mile away on Vale Street, SE27 9PA. You'll need to register and book via their website before getting there.
