Big Yellow Cambridge is conveniently located near the centre of Cambridge in the Coral Park Trading Estate. The site used to be the Royal Mail sorting office, a location well known locally. We can’t be missed, with our modern and bright yellow building. We are perfect for homes, local businesses and of course students who need a place to store their stuff over the holidays. We also have lots of external storage units as well as car parking.

We are located just behind the Newmarket Road retail park, the opposite side of the road from the Beehive Centre. For those that know, our store used to be the Royal Mail sorting office.
Yes, we have a large car park where you can leave your car whilst coming to see us in reception or using the storage facility itself. We can get busy, pop in and check with staff if unsure on arrival.
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm
During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need. If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange. We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee. However this is subject to store discretion.

Yes we do. We have a number of small and large tollies, sack barrows and pallet trucks – everything you will need to make moving things in and out really easy.
There are 2 bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk of the store. One is in the Beehive Centre car park and the other is located on Newmarket Road, opposite the retail park.
Everything you need for moving day or self storage: sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, dust sheets, mattress bags and more. Whatever needs to be moved, stored or protected, you'll find it all in our Box Shop.
