Our Ilford Store

The Big Yellow Ilford store is located at Gants Hill on the borders of Essex and London, just a short distance from Ilford town centre. Our storage facility opened in 2001 and is a local landmark in its own right due to our location (and the bright yellow building) on the A12. The team will provide a comprehensive storage solution for our customers plus excellent customer service. We create a supportive and welcoming space for all.

The staff of Bigyellowstorage Gantshill are very helpful and accommodating especially Randeep. He is very knowledgeable and gave practical tips for the first timers in the storage service. We are located at Gants Hill near the roundabout on the A12 between Gants Hill and Redbridge, right next door to Burger King.

Our reception opening hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm

During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need.  If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange.  We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee.  However this is subject to store discretion.

Our extended access  hours are:

Monday - Sunday 7am and 11pm

 

Redbridge Waste Recycling Centre is located just under 2.5 miles from the store on Chigwell Road, IG8 8PP. Please note you must register and book on the council website.

The nearest Underground station is Gants Hill, just a three-minute walk from the store. We’re also right by Gants Hill Roundabout, which is served by numerous bus routes - including the 66, 123, 128, 150, 167, 179, 396, 462, 496 and SL2 - making us easy to reach by public transport.
