Big Yellow Foundation celebrates £2.5 million milestone

The Big Yellow Foundation is proud to celebrate an important milestone, with total income now exceeding £2.5 million since its launch in 2018. The Foundation was established to help vulnerable adults overcome barriers to employment and move towards a more positive and independent future. Reaching this milestone means even more people can receive the specialist support they need to build their confidence, develop valuable skills and take steps towards secure and sustainable work. It represents thousands of individual donations and the collective support of everyone who believes in creating fairer opportunities.

The Foundation supports people from many different backgrounds who may find it more difficult to enter or return to employment. This includes people with disabilities, young people facing disadvantage, veterans, people with convictions, refugees and survivors of trafficking and exploitation. Employment can provide much more than an income. It can offer independence, confidence, stability and a renewed sense of purpose. By working with specialist charities that understand the challenges faced by each individual, the Foundation helps people receive the right guidance and opportunities to move forward.

The Foundation currently supports eight charity partners: Back Up Trust, Down’s Syndrome Association, St Giles Trust, Street League, Supporting Wounded Veterans, Working Chance, Sophie Hayes Foundation and Choose Love. Each organisation brings its own knowledge, experience and dedication to helping people change their lives through employment. Reaching £2.5 million is a wonderful achievement, but the greatest success is the difference this support continues to make to individuals, families and communities across the UK. Together, we can continue helping more people overcome difficult circumstances and build a brighter future through sustainable employment.
