At Big Yellow Self Storage, we work in partnership with organisations to create meaningful pathways into employment. Through our collaboration with Working Chance, we offer women hands on work experience placements across our stores nationwide, helping them build confidence and develop practical skills in a supportive environment.

With this support, Fatima completed a 12 week placement at Big Yellow while actively searching for work. During her time with us, she gained valuable in person customer service experience, working alongside store teams and building her confidence in a real working environment. Reflecting on her experience, Fatima shared that the placement helped her strengthen her customer service skills, and that the team were friendly and supportive throughout.
