New Big Yellow Staples Corner: A New London Landmark

Our new six-storey Big Yellow Staples Corner flagship store is now open, bringing a new generation of secure self storage and flexible business space to North West London. Overlooking the iconic Staples Corner roundabout and close to the Edgware Road, M1, A5 and A406 North Circular, the striking new building is impossible to miss. By day its distinctive yellow design stands out across the surrounding area and by night the illuminated exterior transforms it into a striking new London landmark. Replacing our original Staples Corner facility, which served customers for more than 25 years, the new store represents another exciting chapter for Big Yellow Self Storage.

Offering 131,000 sq ft of self storage space and 19 flexible offices, the new Staples Corner store has been designed to support both personal and business customers. Businesses can combine flexible workspace with secure storage for stock, equipment and materials, while benefiting from an on-site team seven days a week, extended access hours, 24/7 externally monitored CCTV and individually alarmed storage rooms. Whether you are moving home, creating more space or looking for a flexible base from which to grow your business, the new store provides modern and convenient self storage in Staples Corner.

Sustainability has also been central to the development. Designed by Mountford Pigott Architects, the future-ready facility has achieved BREEAM Excellent accreditation and an EPC A rating, alongside a 200kWp solar PV array with battery storage, air source heat pumps, water-saving technology, EV charging points and cycle parking. The site also includes 55 newly planted trees, bird and bat boxes and insect habitats, contributing to an incredible 374% biodiversity net gain. It is a landmark store that reflects where Big Yellow is heading: bigger, smarter and more sustainable while continuing to provide the security, service and flexibility our customers and small businesses need.
