Our Dundee Store

Located just a five minute drive from the city centre, we are very easy to find, located between the 242ft high Cox Stack and Dundee Law Hill. As well as our excellent indoor storage rooms we also offer some brand new purpose built storage units with 24 hour access, plus external rooms too. Armadillo Dundee is part of the Big Yellow Self Storage Group.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, all customers must insure their goods while in storage — it’s a condition of our storage license. You can choose our Enhanced Liability Service or provide your own insurance, as long as it covers items in self storage. If using your own provider, the policy must include our store’s name and address, and we’ll need a copy for our records during your stay.

Our reception opening hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:30am and 5:30pm
Saturday 9am and 5:30pm
Sunday 10am and 4pm

During these hours you can come and go to your storage room as many times as you need.  If you need access beyond these hours come and have a chat with us and we'll see what we can arrange.  We may be able to organise extended hours access for an additional fee.  However this is subject to store discretion.

Our extended access  hours are:


 

We require 7 days' deposit on most of our rooms or 4 weeks' deposit if the rooms are larger.  We take payment every 4 weeks and in advance and it's a rolling contract until you want to leave.  You're not tied in and only need to give us 14 days' notice to move out without penalty.  Any days unused are then refunded back to you when you move out.

Definitely.  We work regularly with local removal companies and can pass on the details of the ones we're happy with recommending.  Give us a call or pop in to discuss.

You bring your items to us and move them into your own private room.  You'll get your own unique PIN code and will lock the room with your own padlock.  Neither us nor anyone else has access to your room, and you can come an go as often as you like within our opening hours.  

Think of us as a spare room that you control and move your items in and out of as you wish.
