At Big Yellow, we make wine storage easy.
Unlimited access
You have unlimited access to your wine storage during our regular opening hours and if you need further access before or after our reception hours we can arrange this for between 5am and 11pm, 7 days a week, just let us know in advance – unlike other bonded wine and wine storage facilities which can limit your access. This is especially useful if you want to occasionally grab a bottle, or add new ones to your wine storage room.
Unrivaled security
Our wine cellars are safe and secure, with around the clock digital security. We also offer tailored, flexible contents protection for your wine to give extra peace of mind. We have friendly, dedicated staff, with specialist wine training, who are always happy to help and answer your questions about precious wines.
Precision‑controlled wine storage
Whether you need a compact locker for 12, 15, 30, or 45 cases or an expansive 100-square-foot cellar capable of holding up to 456 cases, our versatile storage options are designed to scale with your collection. Every unit sits within a meticulously climate-controlled area to maintain an optimal temperature of 12-13°C and 55-65% humidity, while our larger cellars feature specialized UV-protective lighting to ensure your wine ages perfectly in a stable, healthy environment.

While wine can be stored in a normal storage unit, specialist wine storage is designed specifically to protect wine collections. Dedicated wine storage provides a more stable environment with controlled temperature, suitable humidity levels and protection from light. These conditions help wine age properly and protect its quality, particularly for valuable or long term collections.
Yes. Exposure to strong light, particularly UV light, can gradually damage wine and affect its flavour and aroma. For this reason, wine is typically stored in darker environments where bottles are protected from direct light.
Humidity helps protect the cork. If humidity levels are too low, corks can dry out and allow air into the bottle, which can oxidise the wine. Too much humidity can lead to mould forming around corks or labels.
