I popped into Armadillo Self Storage in Daventry initially just to buy some moving boxes and have a look around, as I’m planning a move in the near future but I’m not quite ready to rent a unit yet. I honestly came away so impressed that I felt they deserved a review. From the moment I walked in, Harry was friendly, approachable and incredibly knowledgeable. There was absolutely no pressure to sign up or make a booking, which I really appreciated. Instead, he took the time to show me around the facility and explain everything in detail, treating me like a genuine customer even though I was only there to buy boxes and gather some information. He walked me through the different unit sizes, explaining what each one would realistically hold, along with the pricing and how the rental process works. He also took the time to explain all of the security measures, from the individual PIN code access to how the site is monitored, and it was obvious that security is taken seriously. As someone who’s never used self storage before, I had quite a few questions, but Harry answered every one without making me feel like I was asking silly questions. One thing that really stood out was how thoroughly he explained the practical side of using the facility. He showed me the trolleys available to help move heavier items, explained how access works, where you can park when unloading, and what you can expect on move-in day. By the end of the tour, I genuinely felt like there wouldn’t be any surprises if I decided to rent a unit because everything had been explained so clearly. The facility itself was spotless. Everywhere looked clean, bright and really well looked after. It’s clear the team take pride in maintaining the site, and the whole place had a very professional feel while still being welcoming. It gave me complete confidence that belongings would be kept somewhere safe, secure and well cared for. I also picked up some moving boxes while I was there. Harry recommended the right sizes for what I’ll be packing rather than trying to sell me more than I needed, and the boxes themselves are excellent quality - much sturdier than the ones I’ve bought from general retailers before. What impressed me most, though, was the customer service. These days it’s quite rare to find someone who is genuinely happy to spend time helping you without any expectation of an immediate sale. Harry was patient, informative and clearly takes pride in what he does. I left feeling completely reassured that when I’m ready for storage, I won’t even bother looking anywhere else. If you’re considering self storage in Daventry, I’d highly recommend popping in and speaking to Harry. Whether you’re ready to rent or just exploring your options like I was, you’ll get honest advice, a proper understanding of how everything works, and a warm welcome. It’s exactly the kind of customer service that makes you want to come back.

The bald lads at Armadillo are brill. Proper helpful, made everythin dead easy and had a laugh while sortin us out. Place is clean, secure and well looked after. Cant fault em. Top service from start to finish.
