The room space is decent. I paid £250 for 20sq ft room for 8 weeks plus insurance and the padlock. I’d suggest people to bring their own padlock prior, and leave 30min time to check the room sizes, and the paperwork, before actually moving in the boxes. Great customer service at reception, thanks to Samantha to deal with my request though I arrived just 30min before closing, she showed me different rooms and guided me through the paperwork with good patience.

I actually have used other storage facilities but never have they shown me such flexibility and service. I have just upsized my unit and Natalie sorted the whole thing out for me at short notice and good pricing for being a loyal customer. I also used for the 3rd time Rapid Removals. They were introduced to me via Big Yellow Storage, Natalie tells me they only work with Rapid Removals for their outstanding customer service and brilliant packaging. I would highly recommend both companies. By providing a service above & beyond, no wonder they have a loyal following. Thanks guys. Yet again you collectively saved my day from not having a “moving breakdown “ Five stars doesn’t quite cut it.

While here from the US settling my daughter in for university- we needed a storage unit. While starting the process online, initially, it was like any other I would’ve done in the US. What I didn’t expect was the personal and wonderful introduction to the facility - as well as such pleasant conversation from Samantha at the front desk! She not only went over everything in detail, showed us all the ins and outs of the facility, and was pleasant all the way through. She has a way about her that makes everything seem like you’re out having drinks and not at a storage facility. By the time I left, I wanted to get a job there! She is a true asset to this company and this will, by far, be the only storage facility we use while in the UK! Thank you Samantha for all your help! Raquel & Gabby

I had issues this weekend when I realized the storage unit I already had was too small to fit everything I was bringing in and the van delivering all my things ended up coming after closing time to the storage… Samantha was so so helpful, she help me set up a second storage unit and stayed after hours, making sure I had everything I needed, charged my phone and keeping me safe and warm after closing time! I could not thank her enough for everything she did during this really stressful day!

A completely straightforward, reassuring experience. The team were friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. Everything was explained clearly and followed up in emails. The units were spotless and secure. They also helped me go down two sizes in storage after I overestimated the size I would need, rather than convince me to keep the more expensive option. I'd had a poor experience trying to arrange storage elsewhere and Big Yellow Self Storage Balham were different in every way. I can't recommend them highly enough. A massive thank you to Samantha and the team. Also they recommended Lee for removals and he was a total superstar!

Really excellent service received from Samantha during my check in this weekend. Samantha was very personable and could not do enough to help, she was very knowledgeable and ensured that everything was in order and suited to my needs. All round excellent experience, thank you Samantha!
