I have had a great experience with the Big Yellow at Balham. They have found me x3 units, all close together and always been on hand to help when I have needed assistance. The space is clean and easy to use. They have even helped me find a removal team to help shift all of the stuff.
Being a student who lives outside London the storage facilities are definitely a plus as I am spared the commute of having to take my things back home to Ipswich. They give students special discounts and that's definitely the most important thing as far as I am concerned, as it is the reason why I use Big Yellow over any other storage company.
It owuld be really helpful to have longer opening hours, especially on Sunday afternoon when a lot of people do household-type activities.

Great easy access place to house all my belongings whilst moving home. Large trolleys make it easy to load and unload from van to storage space. Safe and secure.
I found the staff here extremely helpful, the set up works...I just fear that it is rather expensive, but that is the case across the board. There is a good introductory offer.
The location of the store is the key benefit here but the storage options (different sizes) is also great. The opening hours are very good, with some access even when the office is closed - although I would like some greater clarity on when out of hours access is available and when it is not. The value is very good, considering the security, opening hours, ease of access, etc.
