Visits to store have been easy and pleasant. Personal service when needed and layout of store easy to follow. Storage rooms/corridors are always clean and well lit.
Big Yellow is a brilliant idea, the staff were exceptionally helpful, the system was easy to use and access times were very convenient. We hired the removal men that operate from Big Yellow and they were absolutely fantastic, we had a few problems with our move to our new house and they helped us out amazingly.
The storage depot at Ashton Gate is great and gives us peace of mind to store our belongings that at the moment we have no room for. Entering and exiting the storage facility couldn't be easier and it is conveniently located making it easy to pop down to whenever we need something!

in 2006 I moved back to the UK after nine years living in Boston, USA. Having first picked the Ashton Gate facility in Bristol due to its location, I found the staff there to be cheerful, flexible and helpful in the extreme. Due to a number of shifting dates caused by the uncertainties of shipping our belongings home and their release from customs, it was hard to predict when we would require our storage unit, yet the Ashton gate staff remained supportive, engaged and happy to help. Their positive attitude and general good humour made what could have been a very stressful experience into a genuine pleasure. The facility is excellent and sets a very high standard.
Clean, modern and easy to access, with many useful aids to move your belongings. Equally helpful are the staff, who show courtesy and a willingness to meet my needs. However, the cost of insurance each month is a bit steep I feel
I had to store some of my flat content while I was waiting to move into a new flat and had to stay with friends. I was a bit anxious about how secure my possessions would be, but after the staff thoroughly explained the procedure, security systems & insurance guidelines I felt confident about leaving my stuff at the Big Yellow. When I wanted to collect my things it was made as easy as possible (they provide trollies, etc) and the lifts were all in working order. The only criticism I would have is that the corridors can be difficult to navigate around, especially when trying to pass storage units that are in use and also being filled/emptied. Staff friendly and consistent. Relatively clean.
Didn't know it was so easy to arrange storage at short notice - everyone was helpful and it was a relaxed experience both delivering and collecting our belongings.
'In between houses' currently. Our unit holds a 4 bedroom house worth of stuff! The 5am to 11pm security is very useful, especially when you need a quiet time to find something at the back of the unit and a large quanity of what you have needs to come out!! Took awhile to remember the 9 digit secuity code. Unsure how we ever coped without it. If the unit had an electic socket, we could use it as a weekend get away!!!
