Decided to use facilities at Chelmsford. So convenient, plenty of parking space (even for a large van), the staff eager to show different size of rooms available and explain security arrangements. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Great view of the yellow warehouse from the inner ring road, comforting when looking for the store for the first time having forgot my satnav! (Coming from the east side of Chelmsford.)

Access to the unit I had was easy and quick even having to move heavy objects in and out to the first floor was no problem the lifts are large enough to take two trolleys at one time and the corridor widths are large enough to avoid congestion with other users.Security appears adequate and although I did not encounter any problem I would like to see the actual unit doors made a bit stronger even though they are alarmed

It was a simple process to set up my storage space thanks to the helpful staff. The security features are the best I've seen at a storage facility - in fact better than pretty much any building I've been in! The entire building is professionally run and very clean. There's plenty of room to move even large objects around. I would definately consider using Big Yellow again.

We used a large unit at Yellow Storage, Chelmsford in 2004 and deposited a great deal of household goods there due to major extension work on our house. This year we used a smaller unit for a shorter period but both times the staff were friendly and professional. The peace of mind gained from using this storage facility cannot be beat!

Great way to store items. i feel completely safe that my stuff is well protected. friendly staff and easily accessible.

I have also used Big Yellow in Luton, so i already knew what to expect. Chelmsford was no exception. Staff make using the facility easy and straight foreward. i have recommended storage to all my family. my only negative critisim would be the state of the toilet for customers. it is filthy!

Its a pleasue to visit, no hassle. I go in do what I need to do, should I have a problem the assistance I have had is top rate.
