Our daughter and family had to complete on their sale before their new home had reached exchange, so they needed somewhere to store things while they moved in with us. We had used Yellow Box Co before and had no hesitation in using them again. Their advice was informed and sound, and the offers were good. We were shown various sizes and the staff were very helpful.
I couldn't believe how easy it was to get set up and what great value our storage unit is. The flexibility of contract and notice period etc makes it a convenient and easy way to store things without worrying. The security is great and the lock ups are clean and well laid out. Hayley (Chelmsford Branch) was so friendly and helpful and super efficient! We will definitely be using BYSS again for any storage needs we have!

Overall the location is great, clean and well organised. I was slightly annoyed after checking in online that it still took half an hour to check in on site, and most of what I completed online was a waste of time. Also annoyed about the hidden pricing structure. When I was presented with the invoice there were lots of additional ad-ons not listed clearly at the time of booking.
As I first time user I found the staff very helpful when it came to estimating the size of the storage space that I needed even changing the size on the day.

I decided to move my business stock from a less than secure garage to something better on Saturday morning. After a couple of on-line quotes, Hayley the manager phoned me, I visited the storage, chose my unit and was unpacking boxed three hours later - highly efficient and pleasant. The out of hours access is vital for small businesses; I can get to my stock effectively whenever I want, and feel safe doing so. Big Yellow Storage is a Big Winner in my opinion
