I chose Big Yellow in Ealing as they were very conveniently situated and very reasonably priced compared to storage places in other areas. I was impressed by the facilities and especially by the security measures in place. I was dealt with by Syed who was very efficient and very helpful. All in all I am very pleased with my choice
customer experience is all about friendly and helpfull staff. While our first experience in Hounslow last September was really excellent this time (in Ealing) we were very disappointed about the service perceived. Check-In took about 1(!!!) hour (special web offering was not known, it was complicated to get the contract set up because we moved out from an english address and couldn't provide a new english address before Sept - therefore we needed the storage! - we couldn't use the vending machine because obviously the coin box was full and it didn't accept any more coins - we were really thirsty and didn't get any help on that either. So overall the storage is great but the guy there really needs to get trained on how to treat customer.
Our only complaint so far is that a bolt on one of our unit doors seems to be defective. The staff kindly attended to this, but we believe it is still defective. However, they have assured us that because each unit is individually alarmed our belongings are quite safe.
Staff were very helpful and everything was explained thoroughly and made things very easy and straightforward.
Not happy about the compulsory requirement to have insurance. Surely if i'm happy to store my own property at my own risk I should be permitted to do so. The insistence customers insure smacks a little of maximizing revenue through hidden extras a la extended warranties for electrical goods and payment protection. - Very unfair!! That said, very helpful and friendly team and spotlessly clean facilities.
Very, helpful, courteous, efficient staff, shame that the branch cannot service 24 hours, great security and very clean. Would recommend to both clients and friends.

Very professionally handled by staff from the outset
I had a flooding, contractors, and others in the flat where i was living and needed a quick way to move from that place and BYellow helped during this bad time. They asked us to leave the storage as clean as we found it but the storage room wad quite messy inside, when arrive we realised we needed xtra space so no problems to change to a larger place although I realised that it wad not that necesary later. The check in time tool hours better do it on line days before so no delays...
This is the first time that I have needed storage and it has been a pleasure to deal with the team at Ealing Southall. They have listened to my requirements and been so helpful. I only have a tiny unit, so I increased the unit size while I had building works at home, which was a godsend. Just a little notice and when I collected my stuff I was able to reduce the unit size again. All painless. Just make sure you turn right opposite the hospital if coming from Ealing or you have to drive for ages to get back again ;-)
