Customer reviews for Reading Self Storage

Thanks to Kyle, Toby and Attiqa at Reading branch - friendly and very helpful

Toby, Karl and Atiqa - always good service when I come in. Very helpful and Toby makes a great tea!

Absolutely outstanding service from Toby & Karl at Big Yellow Storage Reading! I genuinely can’t praise these two enough. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, helpful, and an absolute credit to Big Yellow. Nothing was too much trouble, and they made the whole experience incredibly easy and stress-free. Toby & Karl went above and beyond with their customer service - welcoming, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely great people to deal with. It’s rare these days to come across service that feels this personal and effortless. If you’re using Big Yellow Storage Reading, you’re in excellent hands with these two. A massive thank you to Toby & Karl for being absolute legends and delivering five-star service in every possible way.

Big Yellow Storage Reading has been an absolute lifeline for our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives. After losing our father in May this year, we needed somewhere safe, clean and reliable to store his 5,000 vinyl records while we began the emotional process of cataloguing his collection. From the very first phone call, the advice we received when booking was spot on and perfectly suited to what we needed. When we arrived on site, we were met by Karl and Toby, and I genuinely cannot praise them highly enough. They went above and beyond in every possible way. We spent two full days at the facility sorting and cataloguing Dad’s records, right in the middle of an intense heatwave, and Karl and Toby were just so helpful throughout. They checked in on us regularly, made sure we stayed hydrated, and did it all with such friendliness, warmth and genuine care. They were approachable, supportive, and clearly take enormous pride in the service they provide. The storage units themselves are spotless, secure and available in a wide variety of sizes, but honestly, the real reason I would highly recommend Big Yellow Storage Reading is because of the exceptional people representing the company. Karl and Toby made a difficult task feel lighter, and their kindness meant more than they probably realise. A huge thank you to both of them. Their professionalism, positivity and willingness to go the extra mile made the service we received truly exceptional.

Toby is excellent!!!

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! Karl was amazing, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. He explained everything clearly, making the whole process so easy and stress-free. We were even offered hot drinks and biscuits, which was such a lovely touch and made us feel really looked after. I couldn’t fault the service at all. I would definitely recommend Yellow Storage to anyone looking for storage. Five stars isn’t enough, I would happily give more if I could. Thank you, Karl for making it such a great experience!
