Very impressed with the whole service from my initial enquiry right through to storing my possessions. The customer service is spot on!

The overall experience with Big Yellow was superb, the only thing is the actual security bolt on the storage unit would be easy to defeat. However the units are all individually alarmed and the actual facility is very secure, so I guess this does not matter.

Having never used a storage company before I did my homework and visited a few different companies in Manchester. Big Yellow in Stockport is new and well equipped and stood out to me. They provided a really good discount which was the winner! I've been really pleased with location just off the M60 and the ease of access to my room is quick and efficient. There are large lifts and lots of varied trolleys on hand to help with loading/unloading. The staff is friendly and know what they are talking about. It's well secured with lots of parking and I am really confident leaving my possessions for a long period of time with the peace of mind knowing everything will be safe and sound. Would easily recommend this company and will always come back here again in the future if I need storage again.

The chap that dealt with us on arrival was really pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing presented any problems and we were up and running in less than 30 minutes.

From ease of using the website through to the professionalism and high level of customer service the in-house staff provide, just excellent. We haven't been disappointed, and are reassured about the safety of our possessions. Ours is only a short term let but I wouldn't hesitate to use Big Yellow again.

I have to say I am very happy with my Big Yellow experience. The staff have been most helpful and welcoming. They were very accommodating with my changing moving schedule and I am very happy with price and facilities. No damp, smelly units here!

Got to BigYellow not really knowing much about storage units. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and courteous. Explained the concept and the facilities in detail. Walked me through the units and allowed me to choose which one I wanted. The facilities themselves are excellent. Couldn't ask for more.

Very handy and easy to use although the stockport branch address and postcode couldn't be recognised by my Tomtom (apparently too new and a common problem). Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Would recommend you don't go too early in the day as mornings its full of catalogue distributors and the entry aisles are quite congested (why don't they design them with a back area for when there is a busy period?). Would definitely recommend it to people!

From the moment I walked in the Staff were friendly, professional and helpful, it was the first time I've ever used a storage company and they couldn't have been more helpful to me! Great location just off the M60 with 24 hour Access to my stuff! I can't complain.

In brief, my wife and I had spent a very long day, return tripping from Manchester area to Southampton to 'Big Yellow Stockport' to store a transit-load of my recently deceased father's furniture. We were not lucky with the traffic en route and so we'd phoned ahead - updating several times. Each time, the voice on the end of the line was calm, respectful and understanding of the truth of our ongoing effort to reach them by the close of Reception (by 5pm) and assured us that he could hang on. As it transpired we arrived about 6pm and the voice-on-the-phone turned out to be "Kevin" who was still calm and smiling and understanding. he showed us around, without rushing, and generally delivered a level of service that you just don't get anymore ... until now. Impressive facility all round (and extra special thanks to Kev' for being there).
