Everything is VERY well organised! The place is just behind Lidl: be careful because Google maps will either send you to a different storage company or will mess up the directions in the last mile! The staff is very helpful and will help you choose the volume you need. I certainly recommend Big Yellow Self Storage. The only limit is that it closes quite early in the afternoon (especially during weekend).
Great experience, everything went smoothly. Helin in particular was amazing and very helpful throughout.
Initially I had an issue with checking in with an unexpected cover charge but David, the branch manager, put in the time and effort in order to clarify the situation and resolve the problem and made sure I'm happy with the results. It's great to see they go above and beyond to resolve the issues. Highly recommended!

Yesterday was the third time that I used big yellow storage facilities in Cambridge. I have always received exceptional service from the staff members but yesterday (11.12.2025) there was a lady on duty late afternoon when I came to drop off my stuff(I forgot her name). She was incredibly helpful, patient and understanding . She went above and beyond to make sure that I got the best deal out of my storage options. I had also booked at 100sqm room only to get there and realise that the room was too big and needed a 75sqm one. She downgraded me to the right size one without any issues. I will never forget her kindness and how she helped me.
