Rob at the Oxford storage depot was really helpful and courteous. He answere all our questions and made us feel confident in choosing big yellow of the others in the area.
I was a walk in customer & was sorted within 10 minutes
Stephanie in reception was very helpful from the beginning, explained everything clearly and concisely, 10 out of 10 for making it easy.
Ben was awesome, awesome, awesome! He guided me through all of the process with minimum delay, but with careful attention to detail and not at all pushy. Impressive security and processes. Did I mention that Ben was awesome?
Good service. Good price. Friendly and efficient.
My initial contact with James, the manager at Big Yellow Oxford was a follow-up call after my initial online quote for a 20ft sq unit. He was immediately helpful, friendly and I didn't feel he was being pushy at all (something I often feel when companies contact you immediately), he gave me some very useful advise including the name of local Man & van service. As I had already received quote from a cheaper local firm he quickly agreed to price match. The booking in process was simple and very quick, and when I arrived at the depot Ben Vaux my named contact immediately sprung to help, showed me the unit where the delivery guys had already stored my goods, made me a tea whilst we completed the process and was genuinely friendly.
Stephanie Purnell gave fantastic customer service and was extremely friendly and approachable. She made me feel confident in Big Yellow Self Storage as this is my first time using storage but she also went the extra mile to make sure I didn't just feel like a customer but as someone she was interested to have a conversation with.
- quick response to queries and changes before I moved in - both via email and phone. - staff member I dealt with (Rob I think?) was really friendly, amenable, helpful with all processes on the day of the move. - storage unit was clean, easily accessible with trolley, lift etc, parking close to door, security all explained in detail, it's user friendly and well secured. - payment process, insurance and payment deadlines all explained clearly and in full.
I received everything that I could have hoped for from Big Yellow Storage. The quote that I initially put through was for a unit that was bigger than I needed but Charlotte helped give me a quote for a more suitable size. This combined with the flexibility that I was given in terms of length of stay and the option to upgrade to a bigger size if necessary was great!
I found the pricing policy quite complicated.
