Big Yellow were very easy to do business with and flexible to my needs. The unit needs some repairs, but I'm confident they will be carried out very quickly.
Have used this storage for the first time. Checking in took quite a while but after that it was very easy and quick to pack things away. Security access seems efficient but I will find out properly as soon as I start adding or removing things!
I was very impressed with the manager, Matt in Oxford. He took time to explain everything, show me the room, take my details. I'm very happy with my storage. I'm pleasantly surprised by the experience of how easy it all was.
I never heard or even thought about storage spaces before coming to the UK, and even with having absolutely no knowledge of it, this was so easy to use. Extremely thankful for the extra opening hours part too!! (crucial for last minute arrangements). Prices aren't too bad either, well, at least compared to the others I've heard of.
excellent service and organisation. Took all the stress our of moving out of Uni for the summer and wondering what to do with everything. Staff were great and the on-line check in saved loads of time. Great system. Thanks Big Yellow. We'll be back next year.
There are no directions on the route into the complex. Not that easy to find.
My only bugbear with your system is that it's not very flexible if you're emptying a house - having to declare upfront everything you intend to store is a bit idealistic. Also, on the 2nd floor, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of heating.
On the day we arrived we were helped by Mike. He was very efficient and friendly and even helped us to move our stuff from the car to the storage. Merry Christmas, Big Yellow!
BYS Oxford excell in customer care. The option to extend or cancel at any time is the main reason I went for this storage company. No complaints :)
For us at least. Overall acceptable service, Facility works quite well. but got fed up with the 50% discount marketing strategy (there's no way we'll stay longer than 8 weeks as a result) and the contract is worse than buying a house. However any port in a storm, it does what we need. I hope there are no small print surprises, as who can read all that when busy?
