i found the staff at big yellow oxford to be very pleasent and most helpful. They talk to you with respect and treat you with the upmost respect, which is something you cannot say about a majority of companies now. 10/10 good work guys/gals.
Our son accummulated masses of stuff in his 1st Student House - books, equipment, TV, small furniture, kitchen equipment etc, etc.. Far too much to load into 2 cars even. We opted for Big Yellow. It saved van hire costs and the problem of finding somewhere to store it when we got it home. Big Yellow were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a chance to see the room before we committed ourselves. The place is very clean, safe and secure and the system is easy to use. Billing is clear and straightforward. We even had space to store a little of his friends gear. We won't even think about it next year when, like most students, our son will be changing houses again. Easy - worry free and simple solution - go back to Big Yellow
We needed to store some furniture for a short period for some building work. This was a solution that my sister suggested at short notice and was just what we needed. The service offered was professional, courteous and helpful. The guy working there was alone but still managed to offer good service with no hassle. I think his name was Mike, great employee!

The staff could not have been more helpful and clear when I phoned in a panic on a Friday afternoon and needed to get my house contents stored that day. The various pin codes are fiddly but the explanations were clear. However, we had to move some items in out of hours, and the music playing throughout the night was dreadful - at a frequency and volume that made it feel like we were in a torture chamber! Clearly there needs to be some sound, but it was extremely unpleasant.
The staff in Oxford are excellent and are very fiendly. They took time to explain everything clearly.

Unlike my experience with the storage facilities in the US, my experience with this store has been very positive. I felt secure with their security system. The whole experience (from checking-in to loading) was pleasant. I was happy with the climate inside the storage facility. I noticed people used the facility for a variety of reasons, to store art work, office documents, architectural drawings, construction material, furniture, etc.
This was my first time using storage. The staff were very helpful and full of useful advice. I'd thoroughly recommend using Big Yellow. to anyone.
