I never heard or even thought about storage spaces before coming to the UK, and even with having absolutely no knowledge of it, this was so easy to use. Extremely thankful for the extra opening hours part too!! (crucial for last minute arrangements). Prices aren't too bad either, well, at least compared to the others I've heard of.
excellent service and organisation. Took all the stress our of moving out of Uni for the summer and wondering what to do with everything. Staff were great and the on-line check in saved loads of time. Great system. Thanks Big Yellow. We'll be back next year.
There are no directions on the route into the complex. Not that easy to find.
My only bugbear with your system is that it's not very flexible if you're emptying a house - having to declare upfront everything you intend to store is a bit idealistic. Also, on the 2nd floor, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of heating.
On the day we arrived we were helped by Mike. He was very efficient and friendly and even helped us to move our stuff from the car to the storage. Merry Christmas, Big Yellow!
BYS Oxford excell in customer care. The option to extend or cancel at any time is the main reason I went for this storage company. No complaints :)
For us at least. Overall acceptable service, Facility works quite well. but got fed up with the 50% discount marketing strategy (there's no way we'll stay longer than 8 weeks as a result) and the contract is worse than buying a house. However any port in a storm, it does what we need. I hope there are no small print surprises, as who can read all that when busy?
i found the staff at big yellow oxford to be very pleasent and most helpful. They talk to you with respect and treat you with the upmost respect, which is something you cannot say about a majority of companies now. 10/10 good work guys/gals.
Our son accummulated masses of stuff in his 1st Student House - books, equipment, TV, small furniture, kitchen equipment etc, etc.. Far too much to load into 2 cars even. We opted for Big Yellow. It saved van hire costs and the problem of finding somewhere to store it when we got it home. Big Yellow were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a chance to see the room before we committed ourselves. The place is very clean, safe and secure and the system is easy to use. Billing is clear and straightforward. We even had space to store a little of his friends gear. We won't even think about it next year when, like most students, our son will be changing houses again. Easy - worry free and simple solution - go back to Big Yellow
We needed to store some furniture for a short period for some building work. This was a solution that my sister suggested at short notice and was just what we needed. The service offered was professional, courteous and helpful. The guy working there was alone but still managed to offer good service with no hassle. I think his name was Mike, great employee!
