When setting up the room the staff were very helpful and informative, helping me figure out what I needed. And moving in was a piece of cake too, with trolley and lifts making it easy. I feel that my belongings are secure and I can get to them whenever I need to.
Gary at Peterboro very helpful with my arrangements. Useful that you, the customer, donlt have to be present if you have removers delivering: you can warn Armadillo of that and the removers will be shown to the storage room booked.
Moving house is very stressful at the best of times, but using self storage unit in Peterborough gave us time to sort items out and plenty of scope to be able all of us moving out extra time to enjoy other things while boxing. The staff are wonderful know there jobs very well and the best items are the boxes strong and very good for future use also. my friends at work are now looking to use the same method when they move or downsize rooms for building work etc.
I have been very impressed by the overall service, which has more than matched my requirements. I am, however, very annoyed at the restricted access to my unit as the hours of opening are not at all convenient to someone that works in the week - this means that I only have Saturday available to me for getting to my unit which is not always possible.
I was very impressed with the courtesy and commitment to customer care during the whole process from enquiry to booking to follow-on customer service.
Would be lovely if we could have access on a Sunday. It meant that we had to move ALL the furniture on a Saturday to make sure we got it out of the house and nearly killed ourselves doing it. Needed Sunday to recover. Access on a Sunday would have meant we could have taken a bit more time over moving.
armadillo suits location, and with repitable service
Whilst the location and quality of the storage are good the limited access times, particularly over weekends, are very frustrating.
Overall the storage is good and secure but i do think the opening hours are not brilliant. you are open 9-6 monday to friday and 9-5 on sat closed on sunday, most people work during those hours and the one time you would want to go there it is shut. Added to that its advertized as 24 hour access but only if you have external units
