We wanted to put some of our possessions away while we sold our flat, and we picked Big Yellow because it's a well known brand, and there is a branch near us. The staff were helpful and explained everything very well. I was amazed at how clean and well organised the building is -- I really felt as if I was in the hands of professionals.
We needed to empty our loft at home of all our daughters baby things. Big Yellow gave us extended access whilst we moved everything so we could do it at our convenience. We then reduced the access to store opening times which is perfect for us.
I love the style and layout of Big Yellow. Everything is simple and easy. I used the one in Tunbridge Wells, which was easy to drive to, and had plenty of parking space. If I ever use another storage site again I would use Big Yellow, even if it meant driving that little bit further.
I would like to see the store accessible (without) additional payment) for a longer period of the day Monday to Saturday. Current opening times make it difficult to access (without additional payment) before or after work hours.
Really pleased with how efficient the staff were at this branch, very knowledgable and quick to supply me with a large storage unit, we used this for well over three months when our flat flooded and we were very pleased that when we came to move out every item was fresh and clean, with no smells and no sign of mould or mildew which we had experience of from our flood, and when we came to move out, we could close our account so quickly without silly long notice periods, I wil use you again
I found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. The security system is both good and easy to use. The only small issue arises when occasionally all the loading bays are occupied
Facility was very easy to use and clean. Personnel happy to help and parking arrangements allowed easy access for cars and transport vans. Bigger trolleys (for 3 piece suites etc) would be useful if possible and can fit round corners.
