I recently rented a storage unit at Big Yellow, Battersea. The service I received was outstanding!! Completely hassle-free and easy.

I have been very impressed by the quality of service offered by the guy who has served me on each occasssion I have visited. He knows his stuff and is always exceptionally helpful.

I rent a room at one of your store for more than a year. I have been very please with the service. The staff were always very helpful all the time. It's also very easy and convenient to rent and rent out a room. Thanks a lot.

I could have easily rated everything as 5 star but I have deliberately only rated the attitude of the staff as 5 star! Because, it is the staff that make all other areas of the business 5 star! Keep up the good work. What ever you are doing in Head Office has had a profound impact on the attitude of your Battersea team they can't do enough for you while at the same time remaining professional! i liked the contact skills of the management staff and also the calm and friendly attitude of the front of shop staff on the day we moved in. it would be helpful if there were more than one reception staff as it was a weekend day and busy and some of the clients were quite aggitated by the end. i found the service beforehand on the phone and on site at the time of moving in friendly, knowledgable and efficient. it was a pleasure dealing with behind the scenes management and front of shop employees.

Having stored in Canada, I found the registration process at Big Yellow to be a bit over the top in terms of paperwork and requirements. I recognize that some of these may be determined by UK law, but the requirements to provide a land line and proof of address in the form of a utility bill or other paper receipt, in this day and age where more and more of us use mobiles and do our banking online (it seems all of the utility companies are pushing us to forgo paper statements.....yet we need these things to prove our address!) seemed a bit much. Also, the physical hardware (door, latch, walls) of the locker itself were of not particularly good quality.

Very easy and logical to use, everything provided that you could need, except maybe someone to do the heavy work for me! ;-)

I have 2 rooms at the Battersea store and have been a customer for several years. Other than a couple of 'blips' when things went wrong, which were (eventually) sorted out to my satisfaction, the service has been excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful, and security is really good too. Overall, I wouldn't move elsewhere, even if I was offered cheaper storage, as peace of mind is worth the price at BY.

Moving stuff from a flat into storage could have been a major headache (moving my belongings down three flights of stairs was not fun!) but once I got to the Big Yellow Storage space it couldn't have been easier. The friendly staff made sorting out the paperwork a breeze and they made sure I was fully up to speed on all of the security and access issues. Once done it was simply a case of laoding up a couple of the huge trolleys and taking the lift up to my space. The only thing that was slightly tricky was remembering where my space was (they all tend to look the same) but the handy floor plan made it fairly straight forward. All in all I was really pleased and surprised how slick the whole process was.
