My experience with Birmingham Big Yellow couldn't have been better. Staff are very approachable making you feel that no question is too stupid to ask. Very helpful even over the phone. Unit's are clean and easy to access. Nicely air conditioned (which, on a hot day, unloading your house from a van, is very welcome).
Very impressed with the unit. Staff on site very friendly and explained everything very clearly. Recommended van and removal guys were also excellent. Took away all the hassle from an otherwise stressful event.
I was going through a particularly traumatic time which necessitated fast transfer of my contract from Gloucester to Birmingham. The manager From Gloucester and Laura from the Birmimngham Branch were incredibly kind and very efficient. Furthermore when my belongings were put into sdtorage Laura was kindness and helpfulness personified. Since then I have been treated with such kindness and respect from Helen also and by the male staff member whose name I did not get. The staff at the Birmingham Branch are not only courteous and obliging but also go out of their way to show such kindness. Well done and thanks to them. They really understand how to make customers feel welcome and I would recommend that branch to anyone.
Dear Sir I was pleased with the quality of the storage facility and the staff were very helpful too. The only issue I had was on two occasions I was unable to access my storage facility because I could not get into the main site - once on the morning after the staff party and once due to heavy snow in the surrounding area. Had an access code been available, both of the long waits could have been avoided. Apart from that, the experience was good and I would use you again. Kind regards Nick
The staff were wonderful as they went out of their way to help with booking a storage unit when I was let down by another storage company.
We have rented a mid-size room while we clear out our clutter and sell our house. I have used Self Storage previously, but have been struck by how clinically clean the site is. The customer service is everything but clinical, very personable and willing to do whatever is required to ensure that our rental works for us. They have been very patient.
I would recommend the Birmingham store without any hesitation. The staff were so helpful and friendly at what was quite a stressful time and talked me through each stage of the process. When I went to collect my possessions again the staff ironed out and solved all problems. Fantastic staff and excellent service.
Helpful staff who have common sense and make no fuss. Using Big Yellow has been the least stressful part of moving house.

The service at the Birmingham loaction is second to none. All the staff are helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Location is central and parking is no problem.
